Vanier 5k Wrap Up!

Thank you to everyone who made our third annual Vanier 5 km run a success! 104 runners (plus many dogs, and one dinosaur), showed up on race day. Together with our sponsors, Hydro Ottawa and Run Ottawa, we raised $2600 for Muséoparc!

The annual Vanier 5km race is not just a run. It’s an opportunity to see the historic and beautiful Beechwood Cemetery up close, it’s a chance to stroller, bike, run, walk, scooter with your friends and neighbours. It’s the only race in Ottawa that has the famous cookie medals done by Le Moulin de Provence and where 100% of the proceeds go towards Canada’s only urban sugar shack – Muséoparc Vanier.

There is an amazing team of organizers and volunteers for our Vanier 5 km run, and to them I say THANK YOU! Now in it’s third year, we are already thinking of how to improve things for 2026 and we hope to see you there!
