The City’s Election-Related Resources Policy (ERRP) and its procedures prohibit Members of Council who are seeking re-election in a municipal election from using City resources such as office budgets and staff for newsletters and general communications from August 27, 2026, up to and including October 26, 2026 (known as the “blackout period”). As a sitting Member of Council, I must adhere to the City’s ERRP, meaning that this website will not be updated during the blackout period.
My office remains open to deal with day-to-day constituency matters.
The Embassy of Switzerland in Canada, the Vanier Community Services Centre (CSCV), the Vanier BIA, the Association Communautaire Francophone d’Ottawa (ACFO), and my office are pleased to invite residents to a free community watch party for the FIFA World Cup match between Canada and Switzerland on June 24, 2026, at the Vanier HUB, 267 Marier Avenue, Ottawa. The event will bring together soccer fans, families, and community members to cheer on the red and white as two countries with strong francophone traditions meet on the world stage.
The watch party will begin at 2:30 P.M. and will feature the live match broadcast, family-friendly activities, Swiss-themed surprises, and opportunities to learn more about Swiss culture. The event also coincides with Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, creating a unique opportunity to celebrate the French language and the cultural ties shared by Canada and Switzerland.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Organizers look forward to welcoming residents from across Ottawa to Vanier for an afternoon of sport, culture, and community spirit.
Temporary washrooms will be available on site. Seating is limited, so please bring your own chair if you would like to sit. Media will also be in attendance to cover the event.
