Free Basketball in Ward 12

Looking for a free activity to do with your kids? The answer may be basketball! In Ward 12 we are rich in free, drop-in basketball. Check out the list below and find the location and time that works best for you and your family.

All activities are free! Most are on a drop-in basis except for the Community Centre Basketball League which requires more regular attendance so that your child can represent their community centre with pride, and be part of the team. All activities are supervised by either City of Ottawa staff from the community centres, or Prezdential Basketball staff.

These programs are mostly centered around basketball, but during “Multi-Sport”, or “organized games” other sports equipment is available as well.

Note that the activity may be organised by a community centre but not take place at that community centre. Community centre staff animate and supervise the activities at local schools.
