Bus Route Town Hall

A poster showing advertising for a town hall meeting about public transit.

Dear residents,

Please attend our in person town-hall meeting with OC Transpo staff to hear your worries and ideas for improving bus routes in Ottawa. OC Transpo staff will be in attendance, and will be taking notes.

  • When: Thursday, May 25th, 7:00 pm
  • Where: Richelieu Vanier Community Centre, 300 Des Pères Blancs, Vanier
  • RSVP to the FaceBook event here

OC Transpo is conducting consultations with the public before making some changes to their bus route system in the fall. It is very important that they hear as much feedback as possible from you, the public.

We have already seen service cut to some routes that are important to residents in Vanier, such as the 15. It is very important for you to speak out about the problems you experience with OC Transpo, and the services that you use. Come to talk about what is not working and where you need changes, but also come to talk about what is working, for example, the routes you depend on for regular use. Positive feedback is important, too, especially if we want to keep the routes that work for us.

You can learn more about OC Transpo’s community meetings, and fill out their survey, here.
