The City’s Election-Related Resources Policy (ERRP) and its procedures prohibit Members of Council who are seeking re-election in a municipal election from using City resources such as office budgets and staff for newsletters and general communications from August 27, 2026, up to and including October 26, 2026 (known as the “blackout period”). As a sitting Member of Council, I must adhere to the City’s ERRP, meaning that this website will not be updated during the blackout period.

My office remains open to deal with day-to-day constituency matters.

Join me along with Black History Ottawa and the Brown family, for the official inauguration of Herbert and Estelle Brown Park.

This special event will celebrate the remarkable contributions of Herbert and Estelle Brown, pioneers of Ottawa’s Afro-Caribbean community, whose leadership and dedication helped shape the social, cultural, and community fabric of our city.

The ceremony will include official remarks, the unveiling of a permanent educational storyboard recognizing the Brown family’s lasting contributions to Ottawa’s diverse heritage, community recognitions, and opportunities to connect with residents, community leaders, and elected officials.

Everyone is welcome to attend this celebration of a lasting legacy of leadership, resilience, and inclusion.
