🚨Un parc éponge bientôt à Vanier
Le parc Carillon est en train d’être réaménagé en parc éponge : un espace plus vert, plus frais et mieux adapté au changement climatique pour la communauté de Vanier. Nous prévoyons effectuer d’importants travaux de restauration, avec entre autres l’installation d’une nouvelle aire de jeux d’eau, des améliorations à la gestion des eaux pluviales et la mise en valeur des aires de jeux et de rassemblement. Et nous souhaitons connaître votre avis.

École secondaire publique De-La-Salle Héloïse Rosenfeld et @tache.de.spag had their album release party on Sunday and it was such a full circle moment. Héloïse has been singing since she was a baby (photo attached) and she is going places!
It was amazing to hear their original songs, ...along with some classics like Back to Black @amywinehouse and Je te laisserai des mots @patrickwatson. Thank you for inviting me to share this milestone in your musical career, Héloïse!

@esp_dls students @helo_rose_officiel @tache.de.spag avaient leur lancement d’album dimanche et c’était vraiment un beau moment « full circle ». Héloïse chante depuis qu’elle est toute petite (photo à l’appui) et elle s’en va loin, c’est certain.
C’était super d’entendre leurs chansons originales, mais aussi quelques classiques comme Back to Black @amywinehouse et Je te laisserai des mots @patrickwatson. Merci de m’avoir invitée à partager cette étape importante de ton parcours musical, Héloïse!

And a very special shoutout to @cameronstahlbrand — in his fourth and final year as Race Director, he pulled off our biggest race yet. Off to law school next year, but we’re hoping he finds his way back to the Vanier 5km 🏃♀️

There are so many photos I want to share, but I’m especially grateful for the repeat runners and families who come back year after year. It really feels like the race has grown alongside you.

Un immense merci à toutes celles et ceux qui sont venu.e.s courir, marcher ou donner un coup de main pour cet événement annuel au profit de notre cabane à sucre de Vanier. C’est toujours un super moment pour la communauté.
Merci tout particulier à nos commanditaires, @johngomesrealestate et @hydroottawa — grâce à votre appui, chaque dollar des inscriptions est remis directement à @museoparc et au travail formidable qu’ils accomplissent.
J’ai tellement de photos à partager, mais j’ai surtout envie de souligner les coureur.euse.s et les familles qui reviennent année après année. On a vraiment l’impression que la course grandit avec vous.
On a atteint un nombre record de participant.e.s cette année, et on a bien l’intention de continuer sur cette lancée. À l’an prochain!

Please be advised that road closures will be in effect on Sunday morning for the Vanier 5K.
Full closures will be in place at:
• Entrance to Beechwood Cemetery
• Lebrun & Pères-Blancs (Start/Finish line)
• ...Fréchette & Lavergne
• Jolliet at Beechwood
Local access will be maintained at:
• Michel Circle & Lebrun
• Lavergne & Michel Circle
• Jolliet & Garneau
Please note: Beechwood Avenue will remain open to traffic. Runners will be using the sidewalk in this area. Please drive with caution!
Closures in effect approximately 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM.
